The favourite usually has lower odds. If Team B's odds are 1.25, a ৳200 stake returns ৳250 (only ৳50 profit). In fractional that is 1/4 and in American it is -400.
Cricket match odds example
In a limited-overs match (no draw), Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's are 2.75.
Betting ৳500 on Team B: if Team B wins the return is ৳1,375 (৳875 profit). If Team A wins you lose ৳500.

Bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on any odds automatically adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip is usually on the right side of the screen or in a floating panel.
Single bet
If the slip has one selection, it is a single bet. Enter the amount in the stake box and the return is calculated instantly. Press the confirm bet button to place it.
Multi bet (accumulator)
Adding multiple selections creates a multi bet. You only receive a return if all selections win — if even one loses, the entire stake is gone. However, the return is much higher if you win, because the odds are multiplied together.
Example: three selections at odds of 1.40, 1.50 and 1.60. Combined odds = 1.40 × 1.50 × 1.60 = 3.36. A ৳100 stake returns ৳336 if all three win. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
A multi bet offers the chance of a larger return, but every selection must win. So choose the number of selections and your stake carefully.

How a betting exchange works
A betting exchange has two roles — BACK and LAY. BACK means betting in favour of an outcome; LAY means betting against it. Example: Team A's odds are 1.80. If you BACK ৳500 and Team A wins, you make ৳400 profit (before commission); if they do not win, you lose ৳500. If you LAY — and Team A does not win, you make ৳500 profit (before commission); if Team A wins, you pay ৳400 (liability: ৳500 × 0.80 = ৳400).
Bet history — open and settled bets
After placing a bet, go to the "Bet History" or "My Bets" section of your account to check its status. There are two tabs — open bets and settled bets.
Open bets
Bets whose match or round has not yet ended appear here. You can see the details of each bet — selection, odds, stake and potential return.
Settled bets
Once a match ends, the bet is settled. For winning bets, the return is added to your balance automatically. Losing bets are also recorded — showing which market was staked and for how much.
